MCC where called to carry out urgent repairs to the linkspan.
This repair required the removal of the linkspan and transportation to a repair area.
Utilising a floating crane barge to lift out (and back in) the linkspan. The repair team carried out a speedy repair and replaced the repaired linkspan with only a two week closure to the ferry terminal.
