Ro-Ro Finger flaps

MC Construction were contracted to remove the finger flaps of a Ro-Ro deck after collision damage and then to fabricate and install a new designed finger flap access deck, total weight 90 tonnes with minimum disruption to the ferry traffic. Working in conjunction with designers Royal Haskoning.

We carried out the installation without any disruption to the ferry timetables.

We have also recently modified and installed a replacement linkspan bridge at Terminal 2.

We have removed, repaired and reinstalled the passenger walkway at Terminal 5.
