Thanet Offshore Wind Navigation Masts

MC Construction were requested to provide 30 No navigation masts for the Thanet Offshore wind Project. The yellow navigation masts will be placed on top of the monopile foundations to ensure they aren’t a hazard to boats and ships. They have lights and radar reflectors. The photographer standing next to the one in the photo below gives an idea of its size. They will stay in position on the foundations until they are replaced by transition pieces. The turbines will then sit on top of the transition pieces.
